November: The "Not-So-Good" Image I won't Delete
In November, I took my first image photo as one of the three people selected by the whole
school for the live promotion
of NUIST's enrollment. The photographer didn't think that my quirky movements (I was
actually mimicking the pose of
Link, the protagonist of the Nintendo game The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the
Wilderness) were appropriate to represent
the school. Fair enough! However, I still love this quirky yet energetic photo.

July: Visit a Semiconductor Workshop
In late July, I visited a semiconductor company in Suzhou, Jiangsu province. I saw
several million-dollar lithography machines and other semiconductor manufacturing
equipment. The production supervisor allowed me to hold the wafer and take a photo with
the device.

May: Invited to be a NUIST Speaker
In early May, as the recruitment work was arranged and carried out, I was invited as the
sole representative speaker of the School of Computer Science and the School of Software
to promote college life to prospective freshmen.
